Squarespace Template Site Setup

IMPORTANT: This site must be built in Squarespace. This is a non-negotiable requirement. Please do not apply if you do not have demonstrated, hands-on Squarespace development experience. Applications from developers proposing WordPress, Webflow, Wix, or any other platform will not be considered. The Project A complete Master Site Document has already been prepared and will be provided before work begins. It contains the full developer brief, page-by-page wireframes, brand guidelines, and every word of website copy for every page, ready to paste. An interactive visual mockup of the full site has also been completed. Your job is technical execution in Squarespace, not creative decision-making. Scope of Work - Full Squarespace site build, mobile-responsive across all breakpoints, built to the provided spec - 15 pages built from the Master Site Document, which includes all copy, layout direction, and design rules - Brand implementation using the provided color palette, typography, logo marks, and visual guidelines - Squarespace Email Campaigns integration for newsletter signups across four page locations - Squarespace native Events setup for the community events calendar - Squarespace contact form with auto-reply and Calendly integration - Google Analytics 4 setup with CTA conversion tracking - SEO setup including meta titles, meta descriptions, and canonical tags on all Journal article pages - A 60-minute handover walkthrough so the founder can manage the site independently after delivery - A one-page self-service cheat sheet for common content updates What You Will Receive Before Work Begins - A complete Master Site Document including the full developer brief, all wireframes, brand guidelines, and every word of copy for every page - An interactive visual mockup showing the full design direction across all pages - The Ipanema brand kit including color palette, typography hierarchy, and logo marks This is an unusually well-prepared brief. No creative decisions are required from you. Your focus is clean, precise Squarespace development that faithfully executes a design that already exists. What We Are Looking For - Squarespace development experience is required, not preferred. Your portfolio must include completed Squarespace builds. This is the only platform being considered. - Proven ability to implement a provided design spec with precision and attention to detail - Comfort with Squarespace-native features including Email Campaigns, Events, Member Areas, and third-party embeds - Clear, responsive communication throughout the engagement - Ability to deliver a finished site the founder can update and maintain independently without ongoing developer support. 1. A link to your portfolio, including at least two completed Squarespace builds 2. A brief proposal (no more than one page) describing your approach to this project and confirming your Squarespace experience 3. Your available start date Compensation Fixed-price contract paid in full upon delivery and founder approval. No hourly billing. No scope creep without written agreement.
