My company transforms discarded beverage cartons into stylish, eco-friendly furniture and I now need a full e-commerce site where customers can browse, personalise, and purchase each piece.
Scope of work
– Design and build a modern, responsive storefront that highlights the sustainability story behind every product.
– Implement product customisation options so shoppers can tweak dimensions, colours, or finishes before adding items to the cart.
– Integrate secure checkout, major payment gateways, real-time shipping rates, and automatic tax calculations.
– Set up an intuitive admin panel for inventory, order management, coupon codes, and basic analytics.
– Optimise for speed, SEO, and mobile, ensuring a smooth user journey from landing page to confirmation email.
– Provide a brief hand-over guide or video so my team can add new recycled-carton designs without touching code.
Acceptance criteria
1. At least one furniture product demonstrates full custom-option flow from product page through checkout.
2. Site passes Google PageSpeed Insights with a minimum score of 85 on mobile.
3. All core pages (home, shop, product detail, cart, checkout, FAQ, contact) render flawlessly on the latest versions of Chrome, Safari, and Firefox, both desktop and mobile.
4. Admin user can create, edit, or retire products in under 5 clicks.
Preferred tools are flexible—WooCommerce, Shopify, or a similarly robust platform are fine—as long as they support the custom-options module and future scalability. Source code, design files, and any licensed assets must be delivered on completion.
