My site’s homepage crashes the browser tab for many visitors in the United States who open it on an iPhone, whether they use Safari or Chrome. The failure happens consistently while a user scrolls through the middle section of the page; no clicks or video plays are involved—just a straight vertical scroll and then the tab disappears. I need you to reproduce the problem on real iOS devices, isolate the root cause, and hand back a concise, technically-sound fix. Feel free to use WebKit Remote Debugger, Chrome DevTools, Lighthouse, performance profilers, or any instrumentation you trust; what matters is that the issue is pinned down and eliminated without affecting desktop or Android performance. Deliverables • A short report describing how you reproduced the crash, with screenshots or screen recordings • The exact offending code, asset, or third-party script identified as the trigger • Clear remediation steps (and a patch or pull request if you wish to implement it directly) • Confirmation that the homepage scrolls end-to-end on iOS 14+ Safari and Chrome at least ten times in a row without crashing FYI - Site runs our prebid.js monetization setup. Some think it's the website monetization code but we doubt that because same codes are running on 100s of other websites and we've never seen this issue.
