I’m building a multi-tenant, cloud-hosted network management platform that lets each of my customers create their own account, register devices by MAC address and manage everything from a single web interface. Core device scope • Routers, switches and access points must be discoverable and enrollable without manual intervention once the customer submits the MAC. Essential features for customers • Live and historical uptime / downtime, traffic statistics and error logs presented in clear dashboards. • Remote network-settings changes plus bandwidth-monitoring tools surfaced through an intuitive GUI. • A captive portal module so hotels and similar venues can issue guest Wi-Fi credentials on the fly; voucher or self-registration flows are both acceptable as long as admins can set SSID-level policies. Administrative tier I need an overarching admin console where I can see every client tenant, how many devices they have online, their current health and usage, and where I can push global updates or lock specific features per tenant. High-level deliverables 1. Cloud-deployable application (containerised or VM images) with full multi-tenant architecture. 2. Customer self-service portal covering device onboarding, configuration and monitoring. 3. Captive portal engine with user-creation workflow. 4. Super-admin interface and role-based access controls. 5. API documentation so we can integrate billing and future modules. Acceptance criteria • Device registration succeeds via MAC for at least the stated device families. • Network-settings edits and bandwidth readings apply in real time and are logged. • Dashboards accurately reflect uptime, traffic and error data pulled from devices every polling cycle. • Captive portal authenticates guests and records session statistics. • Code is delivered with deployment scripts and a short run-book so my team can spin new tenants up independently.
