I have a 2–3-minute documentary trailer built from news clips, handheld mobile footage, and DSLR shots that all look like they belong in different worlds. My top priority is balanced exposure and clean, believable skin tones; the overall mood must stay neutral and natural, not pushed into a trendy “look.” Every scene needs individual attention, so please feel free to adjust the palette shot by shot rather than forcing one LUT across everything. The job has to be done in DaVinci Resolve and I need someone comfortable with mixed codecs, frame sizes, and the usual documentary quirks. Advanced use of HDR wheels, qualifiers, noise reduction, Power Windows, and Resolve’s matching tools will be essential. Deliverables • One fully graded 2–3-minute trailer with a consistent, cinematic—but realistic—look • Natural skin tones, balanced highlights and shadows, no exposure or color jumps • Before/after stills or a short comparison clip for sign-off • Final export (ProRes or high-quality H.264) plus the Resolve project file Timeline: first pass within 48 hours and the locked grade no later than day four. When you reply, please include links to recent trailer or documentary grades and, if possible, quick before/after samples. Once shortlisted, I’ll send two reference trailers and a download link to the footage. Excited to see how you bring this story together on screen.
