I already have a working in-house CRM built with Next.js and Supabase, but two key areas now need to grow with the business: the Client & Investor Database and our Workflow Automation engine.
Here is what I need tackled first:
• Client & Investor Database – add lightning-fast search across all fields and roll out advanced reporting dashboards so my team can slice data by custom cohorts, funding stage, geography, and any future fields we define.
• Workflow Automation – bake in task assignment with real-time status tracking, then connect the engine to external tools (Slack, Gmail, and a calendar API are top priorities) so actions flow automatically from one platform to another.
The current stack is Next.js on the front end, Supabase for auth and data, and a small sprinkling of serverless functions. I’m open to Firebase for specific modules, and I’d like to layer in AI services (OpenAI or similar) for voice transcription and smart suggestions without disrupting existing code. Clean, well-commented TypeScript is a must.
Architecture should remain modular so new micro-features drop in without rewrites. Hand-over documentation, unit tests, and a CI/CD pipeline are part of the brief because long-term stability matters as much as shipping fast.
Commercials will follow the structure already pencilled in: an initial build budget of about ₹1 lakh, then a monthly retainer for ongoing maintenance and feature rollouts.
