Hostaway and WPRentals API Integration for Holiday Let Management Site The project We need a developer to build a custom API integration between Hostaway (our channel manager) and our WPRentals website. The integration must allow guests to book directly on our site with payment, with Hostaway remaining the single source of truth for inventory, pricing, and availability. Required functionality 1. Property sync (Hostaway to WPRentals) - Pull all property listings from Hostaway via API - Sync property details, descriptions, amenities, images, and metadata into WPRentals - Auto-create new properties when added to Hostaway - Auto-update property content when changed in Hostaway - Auto-remove or deactivate properties when removed from Hostaway 2. Live availability and pricing - Real-time availability pulled from Hostaway (covers all OTA channels) - Real-time pricing pulled from Hostaway (we use PriceLabs for dynamic pricing, which feeds Hostaway) - Handle minimum stays, fees, and seasonal pricing rules 3. Direct booking with payment - Guest books on the WPRentals site - Stripe payment processing (or alternative as advised) - Booking writes back to Hostaway via API - Hostaway then blocks the dates across Airbnb, Booking.com, and Vrbo automatically 4. iCal fallback - Secondary iCal sync as a safety net to prevent double-bookings if API sync fails 5. Error handling and logging - Sync conflict resolution - Admin notifications on failed syncs or bookings - Clear logging for troubleshooting Technical context - WordPress site using WPRentals theme and Elementor - WPRentals exposes its own REST API: https://documenter.getpostman.com/view/229114/2sAYQfE9PK - Hostaway provides a full REST API - WPEstate (WPRentals' developers) have confirmed this requires custom development and recommend Hostaway as the source of truth with iCal as a fallback safety sync What we need from you - Proven experience with both the Hostaway API and WordPress custom development - Ideally familiarity with WPRentals specifically (not essential but a strong plus) - Clear quote with pricing, timeline, and milestones - Examples of similar integration work you've delivered - Plan for ongoing maintenance and support after launch Deliverables - Fully functional integration installed on our staging environment - Documentation for our team - Handover and training session - Defined post-launch support window To apply Please share: 1.
