Project Description
I’m creating a picture-book adventure for little listeners aged 2-4 and I need a writer who can turn simple animal antics into a mini-epic that sparks giggles and curiosity. The story will feature animal characters only—no humans or fantasy creatures—wandering through a gentle adventure that feels exciting yet completely safe for toddlers.
Here’s what I’m hoping for:
• A manuscript of roughly 400–600 words, paced for a standard 24–32-page picture book.
• Clear page-break suggestions and brief scene notes so an illustrator can easily visualise each spread.
• Language that’s rhythmic, read-aloud friendly, and age-appropriate, with plenty of repetition and sound words to keep two-year-olds engaged.
• A satisfying, upbeat ending that leaves room for a simple takeaway (teamwork, bravery, or discovery—whichever best suits the plot you craft).
Once the draft is delivered, I’ll review and send back any small tweaks; after one round of revisions the project is complete. If you love writing lively animal adventures and understand the attention span of toddlers, I’d love to see a short sample or link to similar work when you bid.
