Project Description
I’m developing a new whisky and need its packaging to communicate quiet confidence on a crowded shelf. The job centres on bottle label, neck tag and any secondary box or tube: a complete packaging system rather than just a logo.
The look I’m aiming for is unmistakably modern, but not flashy—clean lines, balanced typography and a neutral, classic palette of charcoals, off-whites and perhaps a restrained metallic accent. Think premium, timeless and masculine without leaning on clichéd tartans or faux-vintage scrollwork.
Here’s how I see the collaboration working:
• You present three concept directions on realistic bottle mock-ups.
• I choose one; we refine it through two further revision rounds.
• Final deliverables arrive as print-ready PDFs (with dielines, bleeds and outlined fonts) plus the layered source files in Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop.
• A one-page usage sheet notes colour values, type hierarchy and any special finishes so my bottler has everything at hand.
If you’ve handled spirits, wine or other regulated FMCG packaging before, that’s a bonus—compliance zones, barcodes and legal copy all need to fit elegantly. Share links or images of prior work and let me know which design tools you use most.
I’m ready to award quickly and would like first concepts within a week of kickoff. Looking forward to seeing how you’ll dress this whisky for success.
