Project Description
My 44 MB Minecraft PE world is buried somewhere on my Samsung Galaxy S9 tablet, yet the usual Android/Data/com.mojang/minecraftWorlds path appears empty both on-device and when the tablet is plugged into my Windows laptop. I have already tried a couple of file-manager apps and enabled every “show hidden files” toggle I could find, but nothing new appeared.
I need a reliable way to pull the full world folder off the tablet and keep duplicate backups before anything happens to the device. I’m not interested in installing additional desktop recovery suites; I’d rather rely on phone-side methods (proper file-manager configuration, ADB with standard commands, or any non-root workaround you know that actually works).
Deliverables – specific and verifiable:
• Step-by-step guidance (or live screen-share walk-through) that leads me to the exact world directory.
• A zipped copy of the recovered world that I can open on another device to confirm integrity.
• A quick plan for routine backups so I never face this risk again.
Acceptance: the recovered folder loads in Minecraft and its size matches roughly 44 MB. If you have handled hidden or migrated Minecraft worlds on recent Android builds, tell me how you’ll tackle this and we can get started right away.
