Project Description
We are seeking an experienced professional with strong technical knowledge of lighting systems (preferably stadium/sports or large-area lighting) to develop a comprehensive, client-ready proposal along with a standardized template for future use.
This is not a graphic design-only role — the focus is on technical understanding, structured proposal development, and long-term usability.
Project Objective
Create a high-quality stadium lighting proposal that clearly communicates the solution from both a technical and commercial perspective, while also establishing a repeatable template that can be used across multiple projects.
Scope of Work
1. Proposal Development (Primary Task)
Develop a complete, professionally written stadium lighting proposal
Structure the document for clear client communication (not overly technical, but technically accurate)
Incorporate key sections such as:
Project overview and objectives
Proposed lighting solution approach
System description (fixtures, layout concept, controls if applicable)
Key design considerations (uniformity, glare reduction, efficiency, compliance)
Benefits of the solution (performance, energy savings, longevity, maintenance)
Project execution approach (high-level)
Assumptions and exclusions
Ensure logical flow, clarity, and strong readability for decision-makers
2. Template Creation (Critical Requirement)
Develop a modular, reusable proposal template that can be adapted for future stadium and large-area lighting projects
Create standardized sections with placeholders for:
Project-specific inputs
Technical data
Images/layouts
Commercial details
Ensure consistency in formatting, headings, and structure
Design for ease of internal team use (editable and scalable)
3. Content Structuring & Enhancement
Refine and organize provided base content into a cohesive proposal
Identify gaps and suggest additional sections where needed
Improve clarity, professionalism, and impact of messaging
Maintain a balance between technical credibility and client-friendly presentation
Deliverables
Final stadium lighting proposal (PDF)
Fully editable proposal template (PowerPoint or Word preferred)
Clearly structured document that can be reused with minimal effort for future bids
Required Experience
Proven experience in lighting projects (stadium, sports, outdoor, or large-area lighting preferred)
Strong understanding of lighting design concepts and terminology
Experience creating technical proposals, bid documents, or RFP responses
Ability to translate technical information into clear, client-facing documentation
Familiarity with industry standards (IES or similar) is a plus
Preferred Skills
Experience working with lighting manufacturers, ESCOs, or EPC firms
Understanding of energy efficiency projects and retrofit proposals
Ability to recommend best practices for proposal structuring and standardization
