Project Description
I am seeking a highly skilled electronics engineer with a proven track record in medical/biomedical embedded systems to develop a prototype similar to the Nerivio (REN) device. This is a precision-grade stimulator project that requires deep knowledge of constant-current sources and patient safety.
Project Scope & Deliverables:
Full Hardware Design: Schematic, PCB Layout (low-noise), and organized BOM.
Firmware Development: Embedded C/C++ code for waveform generation, timing, and UI control.
100% Verified Simulation: You must demonstrate that the circuit works perfectly in simulation (SPICE, MATLAB, or similar) before finalizing the layout.
Production-Ready Quality: The final PCB must be optimized to ensure zero issues with EMI, noise, or signal interference when manufactured.
Technical Requirements:
Experience with Biphasic Constant Current Drivers (0-25mA).
High compliance voltage management (up to 85V).
Knowledge of charge-balanced waveforms to prevent tissue damage.
Familiarity with medical device safety standards (e.g., IEC 60601) is a major plus.
Candidate Requirements:
I am looking for someone who has previously worked on medical/biomedical hardware. This is not a project for beginners or general IoT hobbyists. Please provide references to similar medical projects in your portfolio.
Note: Only serious and realistic bids, please. I will share the full, simplified technical documentation directly via chat with shortlisted candidates.
