Project Description
I am looking for an experienced developer/trader who can replicate and further improve an existing trading bot (Expert Advisor) that is currently running on MetaTrader 5.
The bot is already functional, and I have access to its behavior, trading logic, and performance reports. However, I do NOT have the source code, so the task is to analyze its strategy and recreate a similar (or improved) version based on observed behavior.
Key Requirements:
* Strong experience with MetaTrader 5 (MQL5)
* Proven background in developing trading bots / Expert Advisors
* Ability to analyze trade patterns and reverse-engineer logic
* Experience with grid, martingale, or adaptive strategies (VERY IMPORTANT)
* Risk management optimization (drawdown control, dynamic TP/SL)
Bot Logic Overview (what I need replicated/improved):
* The bot adapts to market direction (more BUY in uptrend, more SELL in downtrend)
* It manages positions dynamically instead of fixed take profit
* It can recover from drawdowns and close baskets in profit or near break-even
* No fixed closing profit – flexible closing depending on market conditions
* Needs to be more aggressive but controlled (target: higher profit with limited risk)
What I Expect:
* Full development of the EA from scratch
* Clean and well-documented code
* Adjustable settings (risk, lot size, max drawdown, TP behavior, etc.)
* Backtesting and optimization recommendations
* Possibility for future updates and improvements
Bonus if you can:
* Suggest improvements over the existing logic
* Add smart exit strategies (close in small profit if market stalls)
* Implement equity protection features
