Project Description
I have a set of architectural drawings that now need to come alive in SketchUp. The goal is a highly detailed model that reads well for both still renderings and walkthroughs, so every element—inside and out—must feel resolved.
Here is what I will provide the moment we start: PDFs of plans, elevations, and sections; reference photos for materials; and a brief outlining the key views I need to present to my client. From you, I’m looking for clean, well-organized layering, accurate geometry, and realistic component use so the file remains lightweight enough for real-time navigation.
Key deliverables
• Native SketchUp (.skp) file with grouped, named layers and scenes
• Components for all interior furniture, fixtures, façade elements, landscaping, and site objects
• A set of high-resolution JPG or PNG exports from the main viewpoints (I’ll specify 5–7)
Acceptance criteria
• All dimensions align with the drawings within 5 mm tolerance
• Both interiors and exteriors fully populated; no placeholder boxes
• Textures correctly scaled and mapped; no repeating seams visible in camera views
• File opens in SketchUp 2021 without missing references or broken links
If you’re used to pushing SketchUp to its limits while keeping models tidy and render-ready, let’s talk timelines and any questions you might have.
