Project Description
I’m building a dedicated piece of software whose sole purpose is to make project management effortless by putting real-time team collaboration at the center of the experience. The core idea is simple: everyone on a project—whether they’re developers, designers, or stakeholders—should be able to jump in, discuss tasks, share files, and see updates instantly without bouncing between multiple tools.
Here’s what I need from you:
• A clean, intuitive interface where users can create projects, invite teammates, and start collaborating right away.
• Real-time collaboration features—think threaded conversations, @mentions, and instant file sharing—so discussions stay tightly linked to the work at hand.
• Solid user and role management so admins can control who sees and edits what.
• A straightforward way to deploy the application on popular cloud providers; a Docker-based workflow is perfectly fine if it speeds things up.
• Well-commented source code and a brief setup guide so my in-house team can extend the platform after delivery.
You are free to choose the tech stack you feel most comfortable with (React + Node, Django, Laravel, or similar), as long as performance is snappy and the UI feels modern on both desktop and mobile browsers.
For acceptance I’ll spin up the app locally, create a new project, add two test users, and verify that everyone can chat, post updates, and share a document seamlessly. If that flows smoothly, we’re good.
