Project Description
I’m building a new FMCG snack brand based sweet and savory variants in one unit.
I’m looking for a designer who understands **FMCG packaging clarity**, not just aesthetics. The priority is to make the concept instantly understandable on shelf within 2–3 seconds.
The design direction is:
• Clean, minimal, and structured (not cluttered)
• Strong visual hierarchy
• Premium but accessible (not luxury, not overly playful)
• Controlled use of color (single base + accent system across SKUs)
This is not a “make it look nice” project — the goal is **communication-first packaging that sells on shelf**.
---
### Scope:
1. **Logo refinement (not from scratch)**
• I already have a base logo
• Requirement is refinement, not redesign
• Create a usable logo system (primary + secondary + icon)
2. **Packaging design (primary focus)**
• Stand-up pouch format (snack category)
• 1 SKU initially (pilot), scalable to multiple SKUs
• Strong front-of-pack clarity
• Clean layout with consistent structure across variants
3. **System thinking**
• Create a repeatable design system for future SKUs
• Define how colors, typography, and layout scale
---
### Deliverables:
• Refined logo (AI, EPS, SVG, PNG)
• 1 packaging design (front + back, print-ready)
• Dieline artwork (AI + print-ready PDF)
• Color palette (CMYK + HEX)
• Typography guidelines
• Basic usage guide (to maintain consistency)
---
### Important:
I will provide:
• Copy
• Nutritional info
• Barcode
You are responsible for:
• Layout
• Visual hierarchy
• Packaging clarity
• Print-ready output
---
### What I’m looking for:
• Proven FMCG / food / snack packaging experience
• Ability to simplify complex ideas visually
• Strong typography and layout skills
---
### To apply:
Please share:
1. Relevant FMCG packaging work (real products, not just mockups)
2. Brief explanation of how you approach “on-shelf clarity”
---
This project will start with one SKU. If the output is strong, this will extend to multiple SKUs.
