Project Description
I need a runnable MATLAB/Simulink file that captures the core behaviour of a Push-Pull DC-DC converter. My focus is on simulation practice rather than deep physical accuracy, so a basic functional representation of the key power-stage elements will do the job.
Scope
• Model only the transformer, switching devices (two MOSFETs), diodes plus R(load) and L & C filter.
• Keep the level of detail functional—no temperature coefficients or parasitic extraction is required.
• Allow input voltage, duty cycle, and transformer turns ratio to be parameterized so I can experiment quickly during lab sessions.
• Provide simple scopes so I can observe primary currents, secondary voltage, and the switching node waveform.
Deliverables
1. .slx file with clear, labelled subsystems for the transformer and switches.
2. Some question answers
3. A screen capture (or saved simulation data) showing the converter stepping an input, verifying that the output tracks the expected conversion ratio.
Acceptance
If I can open the model in R2025b or newer, hit Run, and reproduce the included waveform capture while adjusting duty cycle and turns ratio without errors, the task is complete.
