Project Description
I need an experienced cPanel specialist to tighten security across the whole account: email, file management, and every database. The installation hasn’t been reviewed in a while, so my first priority is getting everything fully patched and updated, then closing any gaps that show up during the audit.
There are no formal standards I must follow, so you are free to apply industry-recognised best practices. I’m mainly interested in seeing the server, services, and plugins brought up to their latest secure versions, with sensible hardening measures put in place (firewall rules, malware/virus scanning, two-factor logins, etc., if you recommend them).
Deliverables I expect:
• A short pre-work assessment outlining the current risks you find
• All updates and configuration changes applied safely on the live server
• A hand-off summary that lists what was changed, why, and any ongoing maintenance I should schedule
You’ll have full cPanel and root access once we agree on a start time, and I’m available for quick responses if you hit any blockers.
