About the Project:
Bridge Corporation, a Hong Kong-based company, is undertaking a river jetty construction project in Bangladesh. We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer with extensive experience in (marine structures/Jetty construction) to join our team for this exciting venture.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and site execution of marine structures, including jetties, wharfs, approach trestles, dolphins, and fender systems.
Perform structural analysis and design of foundations using driven piles, bored piles, rock sockets, and hybrid pile systems.
Prepare and review technical documents, including BOQs, BBS, shop drawings, method statements, and “Good for Construction” drawings.
Ensure compliance with international standards such as PIANC, British Standards, Eurocodes, and the Bangladesh National Building Code.
Supervise construction activities including RCC works, precast elements, scour protection, corrosion protection, and finishing works.
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, port authorities, MEP teams, and regulatory bodies.
Implement quality control procedures, safety protocols, and environmental guidelines on marine sites.
Prepare daily progress reports, measurement sheets, RA bills, and as-built drawings.
Resolve technical issues on-site, ensuring project delivery within scope, budget, and schedule.
Requirements:
Education: B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc or Diploma in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering.
Experience: Minimum 5-8 years in jetty, port, marine terminal construction projects.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro / ETABS, MS Project / Primavera P6.
Strong knowledge of pile capacity analysis, slope stability, and settlement analysis.
Experience with marine materials, including concrete durability, steel corrosion protection, and fender systems.
Standards: Familiarity with PIANC guidelines, Eurocodes, and BS 6349 for maritime structures.
Other: Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills. Willingness to travel to project sites.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in oil & gas, container terminals, bulk liquid jetties, or Ro-Ro facilities.

Salary & Benefits:
Salary Range: $1,200 – $2,000 USD per month (negotiable based on experience).
