Project Description
I need a qualified designer to engineer concrete slabs for a rural site in country NSW where the soil is reactive clay. I have a geotech report available. The slabs will carry two large farm water tanks as well as a tractor shed/workshop; overall footprint sits in the medium range of about 100–500 m².
The brief is straightforward: develop a slab design that satisfies Australian Standards for reactive soils, shows all reinforcement, control joints, sawn joints and footing details, and is ready for council submission and on-site construction. Please provide:
• Signed engineering drawings in PDF and DWG
• Calculation notes demonstrating compliance with AS 2870, AS 3600 and any other relevant codes
• A material and reinforcement schedule that the concreter can follow without guesswork
If you have recent experience designing on reactive clay in regional NSW and can turn around clear, buildable documentation, I’d like to hear how soon you can start and your expected timeframe for delivery. As mentioned earlier I have geotech report available now.
