Project Description
I’m putting together a shortlist of mature, production-grade codebases for an internal evaluation project and I need help locating them. The ideal repository:
• Sits well above 100 000 lines of code (please include the precise LOC count).
• Shows a rich history of pull requests and issues that are tied back to automated or manual tests.
• Originated inside a real company and has been used in production—no demos, tutorials or AI-generated skeletons.
• Lives in a domain such as finance, healthcare or government systems; if your project spans more than one of those areas that is perfectly acceptable.
• Is primarily written in Java, Python, C++ or a comparable mainstream language; mixed-language monorepos are fine.
What to send me:
1. A public or private link to the repository (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, etc.).
2. A one-paragraph overview of the system’s purpose, the company it was created for, and the period of active development.
3. The key metrics: mandatory LOC, and if available the total pull requests, issues, commits and unique contributors. Screenshots or API reports are perfect here.
4. Any quick proof of continued activity (recent commit dates, open issues, recent releases).
If your submission matches the criteria I’ll reach out to arrange a short call and discuss next steps. Thanks in advance—looking forward to seeing some battle-tested code.
