Project Description
I want to launch “Bahraich Local Services”, an Android-only application that lets residents quickly hire plumbers, electricians, carpenters and other neighbourhood professionals. From the first splash screen to the final APK, the build has to feel corporate and professional, load fast on modest phones and stay simple enough for users who are not tech-savvy.
Core user flow
1. Vendors sign up with a brief form (name, trade, years of experience, photo, base price, WhatsApp number). Their request should land in my admin panel for approval. Login for all parties will be by phone number with OTP.
2. Customers browse category cards, tap a profile, hit “Hire Now”, and their enquiry is pushed to me first—either as a WhatsApp message or directly inside the panel so I can assign or follow up.
3. An admin web panel (or embedded Firebase console if you prefer) must let me add/edit/delete vendors, view leads and mark them as contacted, pending or closed.
Functional details
• Clean search and filter by trade, price and experience.
• Static About, Contact and Disclaimer pages.
• Modern material UI, subtle colour accents, no flashy animations.
• Optimised images and lightweight code so the APK stays under play-store size limits.
Tech freedom
I have no preference between Kotlin and Java; choose what allows you to deliver quickly and maintainably in 5–7 days. Feel free to use Firebase Auth for OTP, Firestore/Realtime DB for data, and an AdminLTE, React or plain PHP panel—whatever aligns with the timeframe.
Deliverables (must-haves)
• Production-ready APK and signed app bundle
• Source code with clear README for local build
• Live admin panel URL + credentials (or instructions to host)
• Short video or screenshots proving each key flow works on an Android device
Acceptance criteria
The app installs without crash, vendor approval reflects instantly, “Hire Now” reliably reaches the admin, and basic search returns the correct filtered list.
