I’m looking for help improving specific parts of an existing desktop application used by remote teams.
The app includes several system states such as active, idle, paused, and syncing. Right now, these states are not clearly communicated, and users are not always sure what the system is doing.
The main focus is on improving state transitions and making system behavior easier to understand during normal use.
I’d like you to review the current flows, identify where confusion happens, and suggest clear improvements to how states, transitions, and feedback are presented.
This is a focused task, not a full redesign.
If your approach aligns well, there may be follow up work.
