Project Description
Square Online Expert Needed to Rebuild Wine & Spirits Website (Migration from CityHive)
I’m looking for an experienced Square Online freelancer to fully rebuild and migrate my wine & spirits eCommerce website from CityHive to Square.
Business: Happy Cork Wine & Spirits (Brooklyn, NY)
Current site: happy-cork.com
Project Overview:
I already have a basic Square site started, but it needs to be properly built out, structured, designed, and optimized. I want someone who can take ownership and complete the project from start to finish, not just do small fixes.
Scope of Work:
- Full migration from CityHive to Square Online
- Clean product organization (collections, categories, filters, tags)
- Strong navigation and search functionality
- Modern, premium design (not generic or template-looking)
- Mobile-first optimization
- Setup for delivery, local pickup, and shipping
- Ensure proper sync with Square POS
- Age verification implementation
- Homepage design with clear sections (featured products, promotions, etc.)
- Basic SEO setup (titles, descriptions, structure)
- Email capture / marketing integration (if possible)
- Clean backend setup so my team can manage it easily
Design Direction:
I will provide AI-generated visual concepts and examples. I want someone who can translate those into a clean, high-quality build within Square’s capabilities.
Important:
The goal is to simplify operations and reduce reliance on external platforms. Everything should live within Square as much as possible.
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong experience with Square Online (please show examples)
- Experience with liquor, wine, or similar eCommerce is a plus
- Good eye for clean, modern, premium design
- Able to structure products and backend properly (this is critical)
- Communicates clearly and can work independently
To Apply, Please Include:
- Examples of Square websites you’ve built
- Timeline to complete the project
- Estimated cost
- Any suggestions or improvements you would recommend
I’m looking for someone reliable who can execute this properly and get it across the finish line without constant hand-holding.
